2009-2010 Rotary Year

 

As we look back on the year just closing I feel confident that our Club has lived the Rotary motto of Service Above Self. Through many challenges, our Club has continued to serve both our local and international communities. We have made a positive impact on many lives and helped many people who's faces we will probably never see. Because of the dedication of our Club, families have food to eat, they have homes to live in and books to read. We have helped to end the spread of disease and to shelter those hit by catastrophe. Our Club has extended the hand of support to our Soldiers in harms way and we have given a moment of cheer to those lonely senior citizens in need of a smile and a hug. Our Club is truly Service Above Self. We have continued to build on the solid foundation laid before us and as we look toward our 28th year, the future is very bright.

I have been honored to the President of the Rotary Club of Alpharetta. My  thanks to my family, the 2009-2010 board and to all the members of the Club who worked so hard to make this year a success. Let's stand in support of President Steve for the year 2010-2011.
