2014 Backpack Project

We are off to a great start with our service projects this year.  As in previous years we will be supporting the North Fulton Community Charities Backpack Project.  Our goal is to go deep with the relationships we have formed and are forming with the organizations we support.  Representatives of NFCC have expressed a need for supplies and age appropriate backpacks for the older children. After assessing the concerns of NFCC, we believe it is in the best interest for all to award the organization a grant of $750 that will help address the needs.  The NFCC staff will then take the funds and put them to good use by purchasing basic supplies/backpacks for the most needy of children attending school in the North Fulton Area.

 

This years event will take place on Saturday, August 9, 2014, from 9:00am-1:00pm.  If you are available please consider volunteering a few hours to such a worthwhile cause, remember "Service Above Self", thank you in advance for your help and support.
