Alpharetta Rotary Club President Reveals Custom Waffle Maker - 09/28/2012

During the weekly meeting on the morning of Friday, September 28th, Rotary of Alpharetta Club President Bill Weeks surprised members with having Chef Doug cook waffles on a new waffle maker. The waffle iron looks like the Rotary Wheel and has “Rotary International” imprinted on the waffle. The Rotarians loved it and the surprise. They were excited to enjoy the waffles together as they thought about how other Rotarians could enjoy the new toy. Bill had the waffle maker designed and it is the only one like it in the world. The Alpharetta Rotary Club will begin working on plans as to how they can make it available to other Rotarians internationally.
“It was exciting and fun to see the expression on our members’ faces when we served waffles from the new waffle iron that had the Rotary wheel logo,” said Bill Weeks, President of the Rotary Club of Alpharetta.
