Alpharetta Rotary Supports Our Troops

The Rotary Club Of Alpharetta has a long history of supporting our military.
I know we have touched many lives over the years and the efforts of our club has a positive impact. I recently received a letter from a soldier that had just returned from a year in Afghanistan. Our club sent many
packages to this combat unit in 2011-2012. Here is the note I received:
To the Alpharetta Rotary Club,
I know this is long overdue, but I wanted to extend an "offical" and heartfelt Thank You for the amazing support of me and my soldiers during our tour of Afghanistan. I never use this word, but the first word to come to mind when I try to describe my reaction to your generosity while I was overseas was "flabbegasted". I was utterly amazed, time after time, by all of your gifts, kindness and genuine care for the troops.So from over 30 U.S. infantrymen, THANK YOU, again.
