At the Alpharetta rotary Club on Friday, 01/04/2013, President-elect Dan Merkel ran the meeting while President Bill Weeks was on vacation and guest speaker Jing Chen of the Shen Yun Performing Arts spoke about how the program is helping to preserve 5,000 years of Chinese culture.
Lee Doernberg introduces the guest speaker, King Chen of the Shen Yun Performing Arts.
Jing Chen discussed Chinese culture, how the performing arts are attempting to preserve it, and some of the obstacles and challenges they are facing with the current government.
President-Elect Dan Merkel presents a book to the Roswell Child Development Center in honor of Jing Chen.
