January Meeting - 01/25/2013
The meeting on 01/25/2013 at the Alpharetta Rotary Club featured two guest speakers: Cody Jackson, One Boy USO, and Shaun Verma, MDJunior. The Alpharetta Rotary club contributed $250 to each of the programs.
Cody Jackson, One Boy USO, speaks to the Alpharetta Rotary Club about how he got involved in his personal mission to thank as many of our troops as he can, either by shaking their hand, welcoming them home or sending packages to those still deployed.
Cody Jackson has written a book and a coloring book to help support his efforts.
Shaun Verma, a Senior at Milton High School and founder of MDJunior, spoke to the Rotary Club about the non-profit company he started to help Create future leaders in the field of medicine & healthcare through the youth of today and Inspirie Selfless Service through Mentorship.
