Members Karen Williams and Christopher Powell were awarded their Blue Badges at this meeting. Congratulations!
Karen Hipes was given one of Sam Gordon's few remaining "Hearts for Humanity" pins for her work at this year's District Conference in organizing the Hall of Heros.

Eric Douglas surveyed the team totals resulting in over $43,000 in pledges. William Perkins' "POWER PACK" team was on top with over $10,000 followed by Ted Schwartz' "ALPHA RAISERS" and Lauri Young's "YOUNGSTERS".
Spurred on by Eric and as an added fundraising incentive, Bill Weeks offered to allow his locks to be shorn by an "as yet to be named club member" if this year's total reaches $100,000. A gutsy move by our President-elect. Then again, how bad could a haircut be?
