The Mayor's Challenge Committee, chaired by Roxane Dimon, met on 8 March for their semi-weekly meeting. This year the fundraiser is being completely revamped and will now be part of a larger event in Alpharetta held on Friday evening, July 20. The evening 5k race and fun run have been re-branded as the "Midsummer Night's Mayor's Run and Fun". The raffle with electronic prizes will continue as before.
Collateral events will include an outdoor movie, food vendors, and local business booths. The entire event is a collaboration between Alpharetta Rotary, the City of Alpharetta, and the Alpharetta Business Association. Look for more information, volunteer opportunities, and sponsor packets in coming weeks.
