Many thanks to those who brought shoes to Alpharetta Rotary over the past several weeks.  We have now collected over 300 shoes and sorted them by size. Today we delivered the shoes to Never Enough Shoes at their Cumming, GA location. Several Alpharetta Rotarians participated in the delivery which was accepted by Sandi Smith, Rotarian and co-founder. The shoes are destined for Haiti in coming months. Thanks to all who helped with this project through their generosity, especially Karen Nolan for bringing this opportunity to our club.

Never Enough Shoes was started by a local Rotarian, Sandy Smith, in 2010.  In 2011, Never Enough Shoes made their first shipment to Haiti thanks to the generousity of Hansgrohe who funded all the transportation cost.  A team of local area citizens followed the shoes to Haiti to support the distribution of the shoes.  With help from the Hinch Rotary Club and Our Lady of Fatima Church in Bassin Zim the Team had an amazing experience.    See the Never Enough Shoes web site for more of the story:  http://www.neverenoughshoes.org/

While Never Enough Shoes will take all your shoe donations the primary focus is children, youth and teens.  Adult shoes are needed as well.  Athletic shoes are the most needed but there is a need for men, women, and children wear dress shoes too. Never Enough Shoes will be make another trip this summer and is in the process of preparing a shipment.  Find those shoes and let's help Sandi with this worthy cause.
