November 11/16/2012 Meeting
At the meeting on 11/16/2012, Past District Governor Bill Woulfin spoke about the importance and current projects of the Rotary Foundation, the club pinned 10 new members as Paul Harris Fellows, and Rose Burton, the Executive Director of Homestretch, thanked the Alpharetta Rotary Club for winning the attendance fundraiser at the Atlanta Marathon.
Past District Governor Bill Woulfin discusses the various projects that the Rotary Foundation is working on and communicates the importance of the program to the club.
Rose Burton, Executive Director of Homestretch, attended the meeting to thank the Alpharetta Rotary Club for participating in a costume cheering fundraiser at the Atlanta Marathon. The Alpharetta Rotary Club won first place for participating and in turn raised money for Homestretch.
The Alpharetta Rotary Club pinned 10 members as Paul Harris Fellows for donating $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation. Past District Governor Bill Woulfin congratulated the club on increasing participation in the program.
