The Alpharetta Rotary Club received the eyeglasses as a donation from a private citizen.  Although these were new eyeglasses, they had been stored in open boxes in a warehouse and needed cleaning, polishing, categorizing, and packaging.   Thirteen New Member Rotarians from the Alpharetta Rotary Club volunteered for the task.  The team building event was a great opportunity for the new members to meet, build relationships and have fun while working on this project .

Members from the Rotary Clubs of Alpharetta and Roswell will travel to Honduras in late February to support the Vision Project.

“It was a great experience to work together with the Rotary Club of Roswell and know our efforts will have a positive impact on an international level,” said Bill Weeks, President of Rotary Club of Alpharetta.
