The CDA is a vibrant organization with forty years of outstanding service to low-income, hard-working families and their young children in north metro Atlanta. It provides affordable early learning programs and childcare for toddlers and preschool children. The CDA’s nationally-accredited early childhood education program prepares economically disadvantaged children for success in education and life. Their childcare services enable hardworking parents to maintain full-time employment to support their families. Parents pay tuition, but scholarships keep the services provided by The CDA within reach. The organization depends on contributions such as the one received from the Alpharetta Rotary to provide tuition support of approximately $7,000 per child per year. Ms. Smythe’s goal is to raise $750,000 in scholarships this year. If you would like more information on The CDA, please visit www.CDAkids.org.

“Rotary sees this as a great cause and feels good about helping give disadvantaged kids a great start in early childhood development,” said Bill Weeks, President of Rotary Club of Alpharetta.
