Stand Up For Kids is a 501(c)(3) non-for-profit organization founded in 1990 to target and provide support to homeless and at-risk youth. They work to carry out their mission through volunteers who go to the streets in order to find, stabilize and help the young people improve their lives. The donation received by the Rotary Club of Alpharetta will go toward the organization’s Dream Trust which provides college scholarship funds for students sponsored by the program.

“Stand Up For Kids is run almost entirely by volunteers. We are happy to provide support to them as they work with these young people to help and encourage further education for the kids,” said Bill Weeks, President of the Rotary Club of Alpharetta.
