Thank you letter for care packages - 02/25/2013

ImageOur Club  received the following letter from a  soldier that  recently returned from his second deployment to Afghanistan. Our Club had sent his unit several care packages in 2012. Some of the packages arrived right at Christmas. 


 


To the Rotary Club of Alpharetta,

THANK YOU again for your generosity. it has given me and many of the Rangers here a taste of home this holiday season. We are all incredibly grateful. We are saving the cigars for Christmas day  and I'm sure they will incredible. The sight of them put a smile on many of the guy's faces, including my own. Thank you all again and I hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year !
