Fabio, Amanda, Team Leader Eugenio, Talita, & Telma

Yesterday morning the five members of the GSE team from District 4620, Sao Paulo, Brazil transferred to Alpharetta from the Stone Mountain club. Then they proceeded to the Lionheart School for a tour followed by lunch and a tour of the LexisNexis facility. The team will be with us for four days. In addition to touring various local venues they will be hosted by our club at a Thursday evening (tonight!) dinner at the home of Steve Beecham and again at our weekly Friday morning meeting. A brief description of the team members follows:


Eugenio Pachelle Moura da Costa {Team Leader} (Technology Engineer) / Eugenio works in IT software development. Interested in computer systems and internet applications and data centers

Amanda Leandro Leal (English Teacher) / Amanda works in a private school.  Interested in schools, particular "franchised" schools 

Fabio Ricardo Rocha (Physical Education Teacher) / Fabio is interested in school sports (H.S and College) and physical therepy at hospitals or treatment centers

Talita Yurie Kamagaia Ojima (Health Technologist) / Talita is in biomedical technology.  Interested in visiting hospitals, labs, and health research centers

Telma Gomes de Barros (Physical Therapist) / Telma is works with babies and children with neuro-development issues. Children's hopitals may have capability

Thanks to Rick Leaman for coordinating aided by Phil Kingry and hosting during the visit. Also thanks to Yvonne Chrimes, Karen Williams, Karen Nolan, and Chris Weeber for hosting team members and Steve Beecham for hosting the party on Thursday night. And a special thank you to Mary Ulich and Steve Gillard for arranging for tour of their work places.
