Alpharetta Rotary Welcomes
GSE Team from South Korea 

The Rotary Club of Alpharetta is pleased to host the Group Study Exchange team from Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea in Rotary District 3630.  The GSE team is in the United States from April 4th through May 2nd, and our Club will be co-hosting the GSE team along with the North Atlanta Rotary Club from April 9th through April 12th. 

The members of the South Korean GSE team are: Mr. Jung-hwa Park (team leader), Ms. Woon-jung Chun (high school social studies teacher), Mr. Yeon-ho Hwang (government agricultural officer), Mr. Sin-wook Lee (computer engineer), and Mr. Joon-yup Lee (middle school English teacher).  The GSE team members will be our guests at the April 10th meeting.

 

Mike and Ann Hart, John and Karen Hipes, and Chris and Marilyn Weeber are serving as host families for our Club.  There are opportunities throughout the weekend participate in GSE activities.

Thursday April 9th
Noon  Pick up GSE team members from Roswell Rotary Club lunch meeting
1:30   Bulloch Hall tour in Roswell
3:30   Alpharetta City Hall tour and meeting with Mayor Letchas
4:30   Open house social gathering at Smokejack in Alpharetta

Friday April 10th
7:15   Alpharetta Rotary Club breakfast meeting
8:30   Emory University Library and Michael Carlos Museum tours
12:00 North Atlanta Rotary Club lunch meeting
1:30   Carter Center and Martin Luther King Center tours
7:00   Braves home opener

Saturday April 11th
9:00   Atlanta Zoo
