Looking Ahead



At our meeting on March 27th, we held a club assembly and reflected on our accomplishments thus far and mapped out our plans for the remainder of the Rotary Year. 
 

President Elect William Perkins gave last minute instructions to Club members heading to Columbus for the District Assembly.

We also heard about the upcoming "Back to Jekyll" party that will be held at Sam Gordon's house on April 18th and the upcoming 1st Annual Year End Luau party planned for May 16th.



Buddy Lollis gave us an update on the Club's involvement in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life scheduled for May 1, 2009.

Lauri Young filled us in on our plans for District Conference weekend at Jekyll Island from April 23 to 26.  Hotel rooms are still available, and parties and dinners are being planned.

Ben Easterling gave an update on preparations for the Mayor's Challenge race which will be held on May 16th.  Ben told us about the many ways we can help make the race a success by volunteering and obtaining race sponsors.

International Service Director Mike Hart concluded the program by laying out our plans to host the incoming Korean GSE team and for our World Community Service project scheduled for May 2009 in Guatemala.
