Mayor's Challenge

Fellow Rotarians,

What could be better than watching the sunrise on a cool spring morning as you fellowship with other Rotarians and as the aroma of fresh coffee and hot pancakes floats in the air?!  Ahhh!  Now, add 1000 ready and rugged runners and this is almost paradise.  Well, if being in this idyllic setting and serving others above yourself, you are chompping at the bit to be a volunteer, a phatom runner or better still volunteer/runner at this year's Mayor Challenge 5K/10K Race.

The volunteer positions that are need for this year race are as follows:

Pre-registration Table; Race Day registration Table; Pancake Assistants; Water Stop Attendants; On-Course Marshals; Split Announcers; Setup Crew; Clean-up Crew; Official Chapter Photographer/Historian (John Hipes has dibbs...Sorry!...He's the Past Prez); Awards Presentations (Arthur has dibbs...Sorry!...It's the Mayor's Challenge!); and Pace Car driver (Maybe we should auction this job!  Who wants to start the bidding?!  Sorry, Phil Baldwin, you aren't alloed to bid!)

Look for signup sheets at meeting or send me an email with your volunteer job selection.  Remember...spouses, children, grandchildren, friends and other civic-minded organizations are welcomed to join in the volunteer fun.
