Braving the all-day rain, approximately 500 runners showed up to run in the 17th Annual Mayor's Challenge, including Mayor David Belle Isle. The rain eased up just before race time, but not before soaking everyone present.
The rain did little to dampen our sprits, however. Eva Buelow drew the two winning raffle tickets. Yves-Rose SaintDic won first prize and selected the diamond earrings from Iroff Jewelers. Second prize, a Microsoft Surface Pro, went to Sarah Jones. A number of Rotarians and others still had enough energy to party into the night.
