At the club meeting on Friday, 08/15/2014, guest speaker Angela Williams, founder of THE VOICE MOVEMENT, spoke about child sexual abuse. John Hipes introduced Andres Movilla, the GRSP student from Colombia. Karen Nolan and Steve Gillard were name Benefactors of Rotary, and Sam Gordon and Chris Weeber were named as Bequest Society Members of Rotary. Also, Tom Tjomstol was inducted into the Alpharetta Rotary Club as a new member.
Angela Williams, founder of the VOICE MOVEMENT and author of numerous books on the subject, spoke to the club about child sexual abuse.
John Hipes introduced Andres Movilla, our GRSP student from Colombia. John and Karen Hipes will be hosting Andres while he attends Georgia State University this year.
