Continuing our Rotary Foundation month, Jason Binder gives a summary of the many programs the Foundation enables. John Hipes appears to be training a future Foundation Chair.
Our speaker, Brant Standridge of BB&T Bank, presented a profile of the banking landscape and then answered questions about banking for small business. BB&T gave land to the Ron Clark Academy. According to Brant, banking in the new economy must find ways to do more with less, deal with new regulations caused by Dodd-Frank, Obamacare adjustments, stress testing, etc.
