At our meeting on Friday the club presented a donation of $500 to the mother of Katie Service. Katie has a rare disease and they have over $50,000 in med bills that are not covered by their insurance.
These nice young ladies are from Kennesaw State University, and are participating in a state-sponsored survey and awareness campaign to combat obesity and weight-related illness.
Shaun Rawls gave an interesting update on the current state of the residential real estate market in the north metro area. We seem to be recovering smartly, with Alpharetta leading the market.
