Kilifi Kids and Foundation Month
Marc Olsen
Rotarian Marc Olsen spoke to the Club as part of Rotary Foundation month. Mr. Olsen, a member of the Vinings Rotary Club, started the Kilifi Kids project in Africa to improve the health, education and welfare of children in Kilifi, Kenya. Mr. Olsen explained how the project was made possible by using resources from the Rotary Foundation.
District Governor Elect Roy Strickland was also on hand and spoke to the Club about the importance of the Rotary Foundation and he handed out pins to our ten new Paul Harris Fellows.
