President's Message - August 30, 2013

One of the goals of our club this year is to engage Rotary.   This year we are going to give everyone the opportunity to serve on a committee in an area of the club that you have the most interest in.  The committee chairpersons will be recruiting members over the next two weeks. 

Have you ever sat in a meeting listening to our guest speaker and wondered “where did they find this lady?”  Or maybe you thought to yourself that you know several people who would be great speakers.  This will be your opportunity to join the speakers committee.  Maybe you have a background in finance and the treasurer's committee would be a good fit for you.  If you are well connected in the community the membership committee could be an option or if you were involved with the entrepreneurship program we have a committee for that as well.

Look for a list of committees and chairpersons coming soon but I wanted you to be aware as many of the chairpersons are already recruiting.  See you Friday.
