It’s pretty hard to look out your window and not say “Spring is here.”  Trees are blooming, flowers are starting to come up and that yellow dusting is starting to show itself as well.  That vision is hard to maintain when you walk out your door and the temperature is hovering around freezing so its almost a crossover of seasons.  Well this time of year is like a crossover of seasons in all the Rotary Clubs.

In our club several members are working very hard behind the scenes to compile details from all the projects we engaged in over the last nine months so we can put together our annual report to the district governor.   This includes several binders filled with write-ups, pictures and literature as well as an electronic version of our club's scrapbook for the past nine months and the club statistics on membership and training..  While I work with the current board of directors to pull all of this together (to be turned in this Saturday) your President Elect Karen Nolan is busy arranging the new board of directors who will help her take over on July 1.  In addition as you have heard several times we prepare for District Assembly this Saturday and the District Conference in late April.

It’s a busy time and an exciting time.  I hope to see you Friday.

Yours in Rotary,

Dan
