The Rotary Club of Alpharetta has been involved in hundreds if not thousands of projects over the last 30 years. When we talk about having a Rotary Moment most of us will site a Rotary project that gave us our Rotary Moment.  Many of you have heard me say how mine came when I took my daughter Hannah on a Rotary mission trip to Guatemala.  She and I both had several Rotary Moments on that trip and I also solidified some relationships with other Rotarians that I now consider some of my closest friends.

You do not have to leave the country to have these experiences but they have proven to be very powerful.  Wayne Robinson is the International Services Chairman this year and he will be presenting an international trip for March 15-22 of 2014.  If you have been considering an international service project this one to Honduras will be an excellent opportunity.  This trip is extremely well organized and will require very little planning on your part.  The club will be assisting in covering some of the cost and we will have a better idea of what that looks like once we get a list of those who wish to attend. So, kick those dates around at home to see if it’s an option for you and then wait for Wayne to bring us the details so you can make your decision if this one works for you.

Yours in Rotary Service,

Dan
