Bill Pierson

Bill Pierson is the Director of the Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) in Atlanta.  In this role, he is responsible for the overall leadership of the MTC Architect team, support staff and operation of the multimillion dollar facility whose sole mission is to help organizations of all types envision, design and prove business solutions based upon the Microsoft and partner suite of products.
 
Before joining the MTC, Bill spent several years in Microsoft’s Communications Sector where his last position was serving as the Alliance Director assigned to AT&T, responsible for all of Microsoft’s go-to-market initiatives and executive relationships.  Prior to the Alliance role, Bill was an Account Manager and Application Platform Solutions Sales Professional, working with the former BellSouth and Cingular telecommunication companies.
 
Prior to Microsoft, Bill held sales, business development and technical management positions with Sun Microsystems, SGI and Apple Computer, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the roles he’s held at Microsoft.  He has received numerous sales performance and management excellence awards throughout his twenty plus year career in the industry.
 
Bill and his family - wife Cindy, daughters Katie and Emily, and son Joshua - live in Roswell, Ga.
