Mubarak “Mac” Chouhdry 

His book “I Love America So Why Don’t You” is a story of young immigrant transformed by living the American experience.  Mac’s speech topic is “why America became great and his assessment of the rise of Muslim terrorism.”

Drawn to this country by its rich diversity, acceptance, freedoms and the caring compassionate people he met along the way, he became acutely aware that this is where he meant to be.  In 1983 Mac proudly took the oath to become a naturalized American citizen that in turn transformed him forever.

Mac is currently a member of the Historic Roswell Kiwanis Club and past member of Roswell East Rotary Club.  He has Bachelors and Masters in Business from the University of Evansville, Evansville, Indiana.  He is a healthcare executive working with physician practices and hospitals since 1989 in the areas of operations, strategic planning and revenue cycle.

Mac is married to Jenny.  They have two sons, Aki – a GA State graduate employed with a 3D printing company.  Ali – a 2012 graduate of West Point and is a First Lieutenant in the US Army and is deployed in Afghanistan since July 2013.
