TIM MARTIN, HEALTHY EATING SPECIALIST

 

Tim Martin is a formally-trained chef who spent more than 25 years in the world of high end special events, hotels and country clubs, creating (and eating) decadent foods for his clients.  By the time Tim reached his 50th birthday, he was weighing in at 275 pounds.  As a “birthday present,” his doctor prescribed medications for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and pre-diabetes.

By consciously adopting a healthier lifestyle, Tim has managed to lose 100 of those pounds and is now not using any prescription medications.

Tim spent a year cooking in the Prepared Foods department at Harry’s Farmers Market prior to moving into his current position, so is well suited to helping customers make healthier choices in the grocery store, as well as suggesting  options for convenience foods, restaurants  and special events.
