Maggie DeCan serves as Chief Operating Officer for The HoneyBaked Ham Company of Georgia as well as The HBH Franchise Company, LLC.  Maggie joined HoneyBaked in 2002 and served as Chief People Officer and led Human Resources, Support Services, Real Estate and Information Technology before being promoted to lead Operations in 2009.  Maggie’s line of business reports currently include: Company-Owned Stores, Catalog/e-commerce and Franchise, as well as Supply Chain, IT and Strategic Planning.   Since assuming leadership of operations, Maggie has led a team that has grown comp store sales and the profitability of all lines of business for four years and counting.  She also guided the organization successfully through the integration of an acquired territory, has begun an aggressive initiative around store remodeling and has shepherded HoneyBaked’s entry into the Japan. 

Maggie is a career retail leader; experienced in leading both Human Resources and Operations.  After graduating from the University of Michigan, Maggie entered Macy’s Department Stores Executive Training Program where she served in operational and HR roles at their flagship location.  She also worked for Belk Department stores prior to joining Circuit City Stores in 1990, where she led HR for the $4B Southern Division.   Maggie’s leadership extends beyond work to the community where she is a respected educational advocate, recognized for the State of GA PTA with its “Visionary Leadership Award” for her legislative involvement and community awareness initiatives.   In 2009, she founded and currently serves as Chairman Emeritus for RNEEF, a 501(c)3 that has raised over $400,000 over four years to support technology in a local Roswell public elementary school.  She is a member of the Women in Food Service Forum, the International Franchise Association and a member of OnBoard.

Maggie, husband Bob and their two boys live in Roswell where she spends her time as a ‘baseball mom’ at travel baseball tournaments supporting her two favorite baseball players and volunteering in the community.
