July begins the new Rotary Year - new leadership, new roles and responsibilities, new opportunities to make a difference in our world, locally and internationally. We will continue to work on projects we have supported in the past such as Stand Up For Kids and Habitat For Humanity; and look for new projects where we, as individuals and as a group, can make a difference. Alpharetta Rotarians have a long and proud tradition of supporting this year's international theme "Building Communities Bridging Continents". Remember the Play Doh - we each have the opportunity to each make a unique imprint on the world around us. A New Year tradition is the District Governor's official visit. Our District 6900 District Governor is Casey Farmer from the Rotary Club of Stone Mountain. District Governor Casey will visit all seventy clubs over the next few months; we are one of his very first official visits. Please be sure to meet Casey, his wife Missy and their daughter Ashley.
