Walk For Diabetes at Independence High Oct. 12, 2013

“When was the last time you spent a morning making a difference?” That’s a pretty powerful question for anyone to ask. The American Diabetes Association is making an everyday difference in the fight against diabetes, a serious disease that has no cure and is reaching epidemic proportions. By working together we can change the future of diabetes for our youth, our employees and our loved ones by supporting and participating in the Association’s Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes.
 
This year, we have the pleasure to serve on the Executive Committee for this event, and we would be pleased for you and your company to join us in the fight against Diabetes.
 
Last year’s North Metro Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes in Alpharetta, GA raised $125,000. This year, we’ve set our sights on a goal of $150,000.00 and your company can help us achieve it through sponsorship, forming a team or both! The mission of the American Diabetes Association is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. The money raised through Walk to Stop Diabetes funds critical diabetes research, information programs, and advocacy efforts that support more than 25.8 million children and adults in the U.S. with diabetes.
